nah, it takes alot of balls to bet against your team. thankfully, i have no problem with it.

I wondered if that would come up. I have no problem betting against AU if it is a big line and I feel strongly enough. Like last week if I thought AU would win close, I would have taken USM. I didn't take either team in the game, but would have taken AU if I was going to take either. Thankfully I did not, but AU was the "correct" play in that game I would say.

I have NEVER bet against AU in a big game with a tight line. I would have to pull for AU to win and if they lost, consider the money consolation. So, I never go against AU to lose the game, only to not cover if it is a huge line.

still a good pick, TnM. Alot of my lsu buddies had Bama, they wouldnt listen to me

One of mine did too. He put the bet in on Monday. Lost $500. I told his dumb arse he was going to get bent over all week and by Friday I was 100% sure of it. Told him to hedge, go the other way with $500 and just lose the 10% juice. Of course he didn't listen...

I agree with the earlier posts that they are giving Ohio St. too many points. Beanie is going to play and I think they held Pryor out to not give USC any film on him. I think Pryor will play some significant minutes and running QBs tend to give USC problems...

fwiw, Les Miles in 3+ years as coach at LSU is 12-1 ATS against OOC opponents. So while 42 is a lot, he seems to cover big numbers.

The one loss ATS was against a 42 point dog. Tulane.

True, but I still like the odds - also, undefeated at home in such situations

I hear that, not saying I disagree with you if you're talking about laying the points against UNT.
