A&M forced into a corner on Elko. No way they extend him if PSU doesn’t offer him a job. The path through the playoffs was almost impossible anyway

Not to mention that coach just promoted from within to fill their OC and DC spots. The new OC has never called plays and "learned" from an OC that only scored 3 on Miami.
