If this was a hearing to see whether or not Chambliss was allowed to play at LSU next year, that motherfricker would be in here crying 10 lb tears.
I remember a lot of folks here making a HUGE deal about a press conference from the governor of Louisiana...

How is that actually possible?

Who on earth would side with the NCAA in this case??? They are their own worst enemy.

Anyone with common sense? I mean the Ole Miss argument is paper thin. Tonsillitis??? Cmon

Literally, when was the kid cleared to play football again?
Thats the only question. When was he officially cleared by his doctor as able to participate.
I bet it was 14 days.

Chambliss testified he was a full participant in practice the entire 2022 season. These arguments are so fricking dumb.
But of course Gomer Pile on the bench interrupts counsel for the NCAA and says "but he didn't play in any games." Yeah, he was a freshman. It's not unusual for a 4th string freshman not to get snaps in games absent a ton of injuries.

No it's not. There's a reason they filed this in state court

Yes, if the judge wasn’t an ole Miss fan, as he has stated a few times during this hearing already, this would be over. Any unbiased judge rules for the NCAA here. But that won’t happen. Good news is we can now sue the NCAA for any players we want back and just say they had a tummy ache one year.

Good God, just wrap this shite up so these Trinidad lawyers and the judge can go shack up already

Just give them 7 years eligibility and move on. raise the level of play for the sport to offset the early defections to the NFL. Then make no exceptions.

I mean, why are they stopping at only requesting one year? He didn't get the surgery until 2024 so was he not incapacitated in 2023?

I tuned in for one minute, and one of the lawyer's cell phones was going off during the argument.
What kind of bush league judge allows that?

Ole Miss could go winless in every major sport and my life will be just fine. Think this is something you Louisiana boys don't understand, there's more to life than college sports.

The NCAA lawyers have left the courthouse and are headed to Knoxville for the Agular court hearing which is tomorrow. No rest for the NCAA lawyers I guess.

The NCAA just give a guy his 9th year of eligibility. That and the Miami guy getting a 7th year is why Ole Miss is saying frick the ncaa.
