The only current coach in the SEC who has finished better than Brian Kelly is Kirby Smart.

And yet LSU still spent $60 million to fire him.

And Bama is stuck with the guy who lost more games than Kelly in his first two years.

Brian Kelly lost 4 games last year and three this year and LSU fired him.
Kalen DeFour lost four games last year and four games this year and bama is about to extend him.

Good thing none of those losses were to LSU.

Wow-10-2 for the "regular" season....let's take a look at the post-season...shall we?
DeFour had a chance to win the SEC Championship then this happened...
Ok.....DeFour still made the CFP and had the chance to make the Semi-finals then this happened....
If bama fans are happy then I'm happy...extend him now

To be fair, he was splitting time between coaching and planning the baby shower.

Are we making things up now or moving the goalposts?

Throughout his entire college coaching career he averages 3.78 losses, and one fan base on here is running around like they won the lottery with him, yet you use a 4 loss bench mark as proof the SEC is bad and in decline.
He's gotten better at every stop and in year 6 had Ole Miss looking like Kirby had UGA in his 6th season.
Averaging 3 losses over 6 seasons at Ole Miss is unheard of.
Compare that to Deboer who averaged 1.5 losses at UW and had taken a massive step back at UA despite inheriting the best roster in CFB.

How many of them have won a Natty?
A SEC title?

LSU should try it. LSU’s regular season record the past 10 years from 2016-2025.
8-4
9-3
9-3
15-0
5-5
6-6
9-3
9-3
8-4
7-5
Even with a 15-0 season, LSU has averaged 4 losses per season.

Moving goalposts. You could have just said so.

The best part about that game (besides the Vols getting destroyed after they ran around for 30 seconds with their shirts off) was this graphic pissing them off about how many natties they really have.
