Minus Burrow. LSUs Offense was special only because of Burrows accuracy, not because of the system.

It's both yes Burrow had the best season in College Football history but look at Oklahoma.

OU did it with a running QB who could pass pass a little better than average. LSU did it because of Burrow accuracy. Look at UT, AU, UF and Bama Games. They do not win those games without Burrow, no matter who the OC was.

I know you saw the window Burrow threw in. That would make any WR look good. Again, unless LSU can find similar accuracy next season, there will be a big letdown.

I am not sure what their O would have looked like. We will find out this year. Burrow is the most deadly accurate QB I have ever seen. If we was dinking and dunking it would be one thing. He took shots down the field left and right. He completed 76.3% of his passes......which is a ridiculous slow pitch softball batting average.

I don't think "letdown" is the right word because nobody feels that Brennan will match what Burrow just did. We all just witnessed the best season for a College QB ever.
Brennan can still have an big year but it won't come close to Burrow's year.If he can do half of what Joe did it will be considered a huge success.I'll take 30 passing TD's every year.
I just wouldn't call it a letdown.

I think Linehan is going to be a real asset to LSU this year in a number of ways. It's not every day you get to bring in that much knowledge and experience.
