Let's talk defensive line

The conference lost a good many really good defensive linemen after last year. At A&M, we lost Keke, Mack, and Durham. So, there is going to be a good bit of turnover. The scuttlebutt from people close to the program is that the coaches are really excited about our group this year, though.
We return Madbuike inside. Bobby Brown, who played a good bit at DE for us last year as a true freshmen, is up to 325 and moved inside. The backups will be Peevy and Diallo, who both have great size and have been getting strong reports.
At the edge, we get Clemons back, who was in the starting group last year until he lost the year due to injury. The other guys who will play on the edge include true freshman Leal, a speed guy named Tyree Johnson who showed flashed off the edge toward the end of the season last year, and a committee of other guys (Jeremiah Johnson, Max Wright, Tyree Wilson, Derrick Hunter).
What does defensive line look like this year at other schools?

Leave it to an Aggy to be worried about size.

Said every single coaching staff every single off-season.

I thought Texas had good education?

That's not true. If you listen, you can hear coaches often damn some group with faint praise. The praise for this defensive line group has not been faint.
The praise for the LBers, for example, has been far more conservatively meted out.

This board fricking sucks now. Its just a bunch of trolls, and troll enablers. No real sports talk 99 percent of the time.

Our Dline will obviously take a hit, losing our best interior Dlineman in the Saban era, but we obviously have some good talent in the wings.
Look for DE Labryan Ray to come on strong this season.
DE Raekwon Davis was a bit of disappointment last year after finishing 2017 so strong, but he has a good opportunity to show out this season, and earn some serious money. He has all the tools. Antonino Alfano is a young, really talented true freshman that could make some noise.
Phidarian Mathis should be solid at DT. Christian Barmore looked like a beast in the spring, and Hopefully they can cushion the loss of Williams.
I know I am missing some analysis, but at least I tried

Auburn returns:
DT Derrick Brown, consensus Top 15 pick
DE Marlon Davidson, 4-year starter
DE/Buck Nick Coe, Potential 1st Round Pick
DE Big Kat Bryant, big play pass rush specialist
Buck TD Moultry, another pass rush specialist
DT Coynis Miller, will probably back up Brown
NT Tyrone Truesdell, will take over for Dontavious Russell at NT
Top Defensive Line in 2019

1. AUBURN TIGERS
While the Auburn Tigers lost all three of their starting linebackers to graduation, the team on The Plains was much more fortunate up front. Auburn brings back three of its four starters on the defensive line, including tackle Derrick Brown, defensive end Marlon Davidson and buck (defensive end/linebacker) Nick Coe. Those three players combined for 121 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 15 sacks and 20 quarterback hurries. Replacing four-year starter Dontavius Russell is an issue the team will have to rectify before the fall, but junior Tyrone Truesdell is in line to fill that role after serving as Russell's backup for the past two seasons. Defensive end Kat Bryant and buck T.D. Moultry give the Tigers two more valuable playmakers who can provide depth for the unit. If Auburn is going to compete for a SEC West title, the defensive line will lead the way.

LSU returns Fehoko and Lawrence, which is huge. Incoming freshman Siaki Ika looks like an impact guy. He's already on campus and looked dominant at times in the spring game.
Tyler Shelvin is reportedly finally in decent shape (relatively speaking, he's still 340-350 lbs, down from 380) and will rotate with Ika at the nose.
There's some solid depth behind those four but those are the names you'll need to know for next fall.
Should be an above average group, securely in the upper half of the conference.

I didn't realize Auburn was going to be so strong at DL. That bodes well for yall, because DL is so important.

I'm excited about Leal. Think he is going to be a good one.

AU's dline will single-handedly wreck some offenses this season. They have some bears.

Don't forget about Glen Logan. Looked unstoppable at times last season. Expecting a big year from him. Pass rushing specialist K'lavon Chaisson is back. Former 5 star but tore ACL in Miami game. D-Line will be better than last year. Crazy to think about, but even losing D. White, our LB's may be better. If Stingley is the real deal like everyone is expecting, he will slide in and take over for Greedy. I know this was a D-Line specific post, but LSU D should be better this year IMO.

Has Tennessee heard back on whether Aubrey Solomon will get a waiver or not?
How is State looking in replacing their monsters up front?

Thankfully for the rest of the SEC, we still have Malzahn. Otherwise...
Auburn STACKED
SEC FUUUUCKED
Instead it's:
Auburn STACKED
Still have Malzahn so we're FUUUUCKED
