Dabo has built a program. They have talent and good coaches.
Will CGM play 4 QBs in the first quarter?
Will CCL truly call the plays?
Will it take 4 games to see what our offense is?
IF JS is truly the next Cam, AU could win any game.
I'll wait and see. I'm optimistic.

They board will be insufferable with Auburn inbreds if they win their first meaningful game in three years.

After reading that article, I'm more than optimistic that Auburn is gonna btho the Auburn pretenders.

Auburn has one of the best and maybe even arguably the best O-Line in the conference. Come on man

Kill 'em. Please. Y'all will have the support of every single Gamecock in the world...not that you'll need it.

Being a LSU fan and living in the upstate for my adult life ive dealt with it. Even in the bowden years they were annoying. It got worse after we lost to them in the chick fila bowl.

Auburn still has Kevin Steele. how can this be forgotten about?
Yes we do. We traded Craig for him.

Oh hell...I didn't realize you lived in the upstate. Good Lord I am sorry for you. No way I'd survive that torture.

Clemson lost an awful lot...but they lost an awful lot going into last season and won the natty. They are the closest thing to Bama in their ability to reload as opposed to rebuilding. Their D-Line is the consensus top in the nation. If I were being objective, I'd have to pick Clemson at home.
We obviously feel really good about our offense. But we've all seen strong OL's and running games shut the f*** down by a dominant run D like Bama's over the years...I'm not sure just how strong Clemson is beyond their D-Line but I'm pretty certain it's strong enough to force AU to pass effectively enough to keep the safeties out of the box and drop LB's into coverage to soften the run D. It's not crazy to think that AU can do it...given the talent at QB and RB and the new more pass-happy OC. But it's still going to be tough.
I wouldn't assume that Clemson's QB is going to suck...that would actually be pretty shocking to me. But Watson was indeed generational talent that is not easily replaced. We AU fans were talking that kind of nonsense after 2010. "We may have a little drop off but we'll be fine".
If the guy above that said Stidham is a choke artist had actually watched him in games and in the Spring game, he wouldn't have said this. Dude has ice in his veins...probably not to the crazy degree that Hurts does but in that neighborhood...plus he has excellent pocket presence.
This is going to be a tough game that I give AU a 45% chance of winning...and if we pull it off, nice things ahead this season.

Nick Marshall's best skill/talent/attribute was he was so clutch and calm under pressure.

I wouldn't take much from that article. I read a lot of coach speak.

They had a few of their DL who were saying the same..that they'd let the media hype get to them. A very clemson thing to do so I wouldn't doubt there's more than a little truth to it.
