I can’t speak for other LSU fans, but they’ve proved me out of the experience. I can take the Rant calling me “poors”, but it’s the truth.
I saw where two bottles of water cost $12.
With this economy I just can’t go that route.

You guys don’t know South Louisiana heat. Not in Arkansas buddy. Why do you think the ducks keep heading your way during duck season?

If you read the Rant, its apparent our fans are mostly women.

That’s probably the worst crowd in sec history for a ranked team. Outside of Covid at least

Three things to this…
1. There was over 70 people in medical tents. Many leaving for health reasons.
2. That’s not an excuse. People knew it was going to be hot, but are dumb and drink anyway and not properly hydrating.
3. That’s still more people in the stadium than can fit in Ole Miss stadium.

No but LSU and Florida are the only ones that are surrounded by water like they are with swamps and low lying water areas and have generally higher humidity and heat indexes at their stadium. The only other stadiums as far south comparable are Texas A&M and Texas. They can get as humid at times. But especially Texas is more dry heat. I’m sorry 9th grade science failed you.

Yea that was a hot and miserable time of day to have a game.
That said I'm literally in this picture.

At least we have a football fan with at least a pulse. Florida, realky Florida.

LSU should NEVER play a day game in Tiger Stadium until mid October.
The fact that the "TV money" has forced LSU and most schools to sell the soul of the college game for cash is 100% BS.
Night games at LSU was the way, is the right way and should be the way and it's not even debatable.

You know how In early September Ole Miss fans wear white and stay for maybe a quarter because they’re baking In the Sun? That’s what it was like.
97 degrees and high humidity

Louisiana heat is different than Arkansas, Central/Northern MS, Central/Northern AL, and even most of Florida where one side of the state has the cold Atlantic current so while still hot, is cooler.
There’s a reason back before the civil war the southern plantation owners said they’d sell you down the river to go to the NOLA plantations. The heat and work were worse than everywhere else in the south.

Tell me you’ve never been to Tiger Stadium in one of these cookers without telling me. I was stationed at Rucker. There is zero comparison between Louisiana hot and Alabama hot.

70 people were treated by EMS with heat related emergencies. That’s the east side that bakes in the sun.
Try harder next time.
