I was talking about this in regards to his flopping on jump shots.

But people see lots of points and pleasure themselves to it.

It's similar to the way LSU fans creams their pants over Myles Brennan throwing for 400 yards on 50+ attempts while going 0/9 on 3rd down.

At least he'll make the tournament, unlike Anthony Edwards. I don't have to tell you that though, Georgia fans know all about 5 stars not living up to their potential.

So, you have only seen LSU games since his injury.

He certainly hurt LSU more than helped them against Georgia. It never would've been that close if you guys fed Watford or Days in the post instead of letting Thomas chuck and miss his 7th 3 in a row.

He will be a better NBA player than college
He's a volume shooter which works a lot better in the NBA
He's getting a lot of attention from defenses since early in the season
Would love to see him get hot (better shooting %age) this next month and LSU could ride him

Prior to his injury, he was the best shooter in the league

According to another LSU fan in here:

he was 33% from 3 prior to injury

Makes sense.

Why did you leave out PPG?

Because any player can score 20 PPG if they shoot it enough. That's why people use FG%

He shoots well but he just can't hit the basket.

That included a few conference games.

Point is, you clearly didnt watch him in games prior to his injury and after. I have, and he is simply missing way worse since his injury on his jump shots. Again, never saw him air mail any jumper prior rolling his ankle, since then, it happens once or twice every game. His jump shot is just not the same since he uses so much power off his feet to shoot a jumper. He took a ton of contested shots before and after the injury as well, the biggest issue for him is simply healing that ankle back up to full strength right now and he will progress back his closer to his mean. He was one of the most prolific shooters we've gotten since Wade has got here,. He absolutely dominated people at Oak Hill playing top notch competition. I really dont hope you believe a guy like him is truly a sub 20% 3 point shooter.

Kind of missing a lot of context in the numbers when you dont factor in he rolled his ankle a few weeks back and that's about the time his jump shot also started being off way more.

DJ Stewart has more attempts than Thomas and has 17.6 ppg, so that's simply not true.
