What does it matter when our first SEC road game is?

Doesn’t ND have Elko’s QB from duke now? Also duke played ND last year pretty close iirc, Elko might have a pretty good idea how to beat them and also Riley Leonard’s weaknesses

You might be, if you think playing at Vanderbilt in November vs. September makes a difference.

I will spell it out for you. TEX doesn't have an SEC road game until their 8th game of the season. And then they get to play the worst team in the conference.

Missouri heads to their first SEC road game for their game #4 when they go to A&M.

A&M has they'd first SEC road game for their game #3 when they play us at the Swamp.

Not having an SEC game on the road until your 8th game of the season is a big advantage. Then add on that your first SEC road game is your 8th game of the season AND it is Vandy is just utterly ridiculous.

Why?

And then we play 2 jihad games on the road in Fayettnam and College Station. I'd much rather play e.g. Arkansas to start the season.

I just don't agree that finishing the season with 3 SEC road games in 5 weeks is some huge advantage. Spacing them out would be better for us.

A&M is not beating ND! Book the loss.

We’ll see if LSU casually walks away with a win in that “lie” this year. Les Miles isn’t walking through that door.

LSU is loaded this year and we'll be way better on defense. I think every LSU fan is thankful the Les Miles isn't coming through that door!

Absolutely, we were God awful on defense last season. If not for the offensive, we would have been A&M.

You wish you had A&M’s defense. Love the confidence of a team losing a dominant Heisman winning QB. Never change lsu.

The propensity of Texas A&M, stepping on their dicks on college footballs biggest stage cannot be understated. ND will crush them.

Spacing them out? Arkansas played lsu, aggie, ole miss then Bama in consecutive weekends on the road. Screw your weak arse schedule.

Last year’s schedule is what gets coaches fired. Close losses don’t count.

Cause we get a lot of 11am kick offs.

Night games are different. Just like LSU.

Leonard also has a pretty good idea of Elko's defensive tendencies, zero sum.

I really don't think it makes much difference either way tbh. Since it's the first game of the season Weigman won't be injured yet...domers lose this one.

Are you agreeing with me that it’s difficult when your SEC road games are bunched together? I’ll grant you that’s a tougher slate of road games than ours, although you and TAMU hate us far more than any of those teams hate you.
