Why do you think Mizzou has so many inherent advantages over LSU? Better NIL? Better Stadium? Better training facilities? Better fanbase? Better in-state/regional talent?

They don't, that's why your head coach is like 8th in win percentage among SEC head coaches.

Apparently they do. Baker's defense was top 30 or so at Missouri. Missouri clearly has many advantages over LSU.

Looking at scoring by common opponents, Mizzou's defense is as bad as LSU's.

Bradyn Swinson and Zy Alexander are the only defensive players LSU has right now that are projected to be drafted in the spring.
