The Louisiana State Tigers gave Blake Baker $2.5 mil per year for a three year deal, which makes him the highest paid defensive coordinator in all of college football, and their fanbase rubbed it in Mizzou’s face all offseason long. Since then, his defense has yielded only 5 total INTS all season long, can’t stop the QB run game, is dominated up front, the angles by the LB’s/DB’s are horrific, can’t tackle in space. There is no outside contain & when they do force it inside there is no help. So not only are they unranked, they aren’t CFP bound as they watch Bama, who they’ve taunted all year since Saban retired, earn a first round berth in the playoffs. Oh, and Brian Kelly has yet to win a major bowl game and they’re stuck with him for a decade. OUCH
