West Virginia, no question. Probably close behind is Louisville.

Neither of these are in the SEC so after that I am going with Tennessee because of their history and closed state of the Melungeon peoples of the state. After that I might suggest Georgia as it is home to Chattaham County which may have been the inspiration for "Deliverance" if West Virginia was. not.

Here's Jerry Lee Lewis. Proud, native Louisianan. And his 14 year old first cousin whom he threw away a legendary career in order to marry.

This is a real person. A real life example. Not just internet banter. Your move.

But who truly is the real "inbred fanbase"

all of them with the exception of Vanderbilt. They all have their share of rednecks, some with different accents than others.

If you want a real answer, it's none. Most of that bullshite is over stated. LINK

But, if you want to be a troll, a quick look at yahoo answers shows, (1. Kentucky
(2. Arkansas
(3. Alabama
(4. Tennessee
(5. Missouri
(6. Mississippi
(7. West Virginia
(8. Kansas
(9. Utah
(10. South Carolina

I used to think South Carolina wasn't as hick as states like TN, AL, and KY until I drove through that shithole on I-26 to Charleston.

There are these yellow billboards every ten miles that have "REPENT" in bold, red capital letters the entire length of I-26 through SC. That tells you all you need to know.

Alabama really isn't as bad as people say it is. North Florida is one of the most redneck parts of the U.S. IMHO

We are the posh metropolitan fanbase of the state,

I mean look at us, we are in a city, Columbia.
They are in the middle of nowhere in a 1 stop light town with farm animals.
