Alabama
Ole Miss
Florida
Tennessee
LSU
Georgia

Just missed....

Arkansas and State

Stability and on field success combined with recruiting.

If LSU can turn it around this coming year, they obviously move up...

They just won a Sugar Bowl, have stability in their coach, have QBs for future years, and are recruiting well.

That Sugar Bowl matchup isn't what it used to be.

#12 vs. #16

Lowest ranked matchup in that bowl game in over 60 years

Outside of Bama - only AU under Gus offense has been to the title game twice in 5 years

Miles has been to the title games twice in 5 years, winning twice in the SEC and once in the NCG.

Ole Miss also lost to a Memphis team that lost to Auburn in their bowl game.

And? Ya'll lost to Toledo in LR and TT at home. Go nibble on a .38.

Ole Miss is trash and putting Freeze and their coaches on the same level as LSU's is absurd.
Quite frankly their program sucks and until proven otherwise, they belong no where near the top. No requirements for the sugar. They could have taken Florida, or LSU. Its not like it used to be when you had to finish second in the SEC if the SEC had a team in the championship

Thank you for your comparable entry on the current Ole Miss flame checklist:

"Ole Miss' record against us is [not many] and [many] since 1890..."
Freeze paying recruits / Pending NCAA violation
Best Ole Miss team ever lost to Memphis

How many Arkansas fans do you see in this thread begging for relevance?

Hard to argue with OP until we prove it on the gridiron. Kentucky's headed into Year 4 under Stoops, hopefully the staffing shakeups bring us some much needed luck and a few more W's. In on some good recruits for 2017, and added some much needed depth in this incoming class.

I feel like if Brooks had stayed, kept the foundation of 7-8 win seasons going instead of passing it on to Joker and letting him burn us to the ground, Stoops and his recruiting would have us winning 9 or possible more in a down East. Instead we can't even manage to convert a 1st and goal against Vanderbilt. Sigh.

Re the 6-point "miracle win" over Bama - Alabama was never in it in the 2nd half, even taking their comeback into account:
