8-4 , you hired a good coach. I was here a few years ago asking why nobody was hiring that guy.

Your Alabama and USC scores strike me as odd.

Is depth a problem where you're expecting multiple starters worn down by the time you play cocky? Or are you expecting an UGA hangover?

Nevermind, I can't read. inb4 arkansas jokes. That was 2021. What happened in the Carolina game??? I don't remeber that one. (Florida is probably the team I follow the least in the SEC. No offense. Just we don't play you often and there's no personal or team rivalries involved.)

I see 5-7. A whole new offense and defense vs teams that have a year head start.

Losses:
Tennessee
FSU
UK
LSU
Utah
UGA
AM

I don't see how UF wins more than 5-6 games this year.

EDIT: I guess looking at the schedule in a vacuum.

I believe the first 4 games will decide the trajectory of UF's season:

vs. Utah
vs. UK
vs. USF
@ Tennessee

I still like our chances in the Swamp. Utah will fall just like those other PAC 12 teams did previously in Gainesville.

I live out West and have watched Utah fairly regularly.

They are the most SEC-like Pac-12 team out here.

And they are much better than UF on both LOS and return a very experienced QB.

I don't see how you are dismissing them at all.

Damn, son. Mullen really collapsed didn't he?

Here's hoping Napier can get things sorted out. Florida should be elite instead of just kinda there.

Odd that everyone thinks Utah handles UF. I know nothing about Utah but still...

I just think we handle Utah in the Swamp. Richardson is the real deal I believe.

They return almost everyone and are expected to be a playoff team this year.

Last year they were inconsistent but had some very big wins.

Utah is a good team. It will be a good test for Florida and should give some insight to the type of record to expect.

I expect to lose by 14+

New coaches almost never pull off a big upset in year one much less game one.

I would flip a win vs Missouri to a loss and flip a loss vs LSU to a win.

LSU also has a new HC and staff!
