He is the biggest choke artist I've ever seen. A very simple catch for a national title.
Due basically runs over the first baseman and calls off the right fielder and didnt have a bad on the ball. BOTH of those guys had it judged way way better, he overran it by 10 ft.
I understand if you drop it, I just cant absorb why he was so damn far past the play after calling others off.
Simply the biggest choke job I've ever seen on this stage.

It was his time to shine. He wanted to be the centerpiece of Hog History.
At least he got his wish.

The RF didn’t seem like he was even close to the play so I can’t fault him too much even though ideally you want him calling them off. I don’t think 1B would have had it. It was the most difficult coming from his position and it looked pretty clear the 2B called him off. I do question why the 1B and RF weren’t more into the play trying to save it when 2B fricked it up. I’ve seen plenty of catches of guys laying out after it bounces of another playersgove. I know it wasn’t anywhere close to the glove but still be on your toes, watch it, and attempt a play once you see he’s clearly overran it by several feet.

How do you come back after last night. It’s going to take some serious mental fortitude and some luck that your pitcher is ready to deal.

You’ve clearly never seen Kim Kardashian’s sex tape. There’s a reason she’s famous now.

Yet he's playing in game 3 tonight while you make fun of him on a internet forum.

Why are you so defensive breh?

Exactly, not like he tossed the crystal ball at the same time his teammate turned his head and the opposing team caught it- not yet at least.

quote:That's the one thing we have going for us. They threw the guy they were supposed to start today's game last night and we still have Campbell on full rest who's arguably the best pitcher on the staff in terms of stuff. If he has it going like he did against Florida we're in good shape. Just gotta hit whoever they put on the mound for a change.
your pitcher is ready to deal.

No LSU fan defends that piece of shite decision though.
That's the difference

little league play. All 3 could have mad the play. It was the 2b play to make. FR should have been close enough to see that the 2b messed up and should have caught the ball. 1B could have made the catch but that was not on him.
Ark will lose to night. I hope I am wrong.

The difference? Who’s defending the play? It’s not over, that’s what we are saying or I am anyway.

Not much to discuss. The right fielder could have called him off but the 2nd baseman clearly called everyone off beforehand and should have made the play. He f'ed up

The 2nd baseman cant call the RF off
The right fielder is 100% to blame because he stopped on the play which was his to make and call off the other players
That was a very difficult catch for the 2b, but he did the right thing hustling for it because he was never called off
The 1b basically has no shot

he literally dropped the ball on that play

He literally didn’t drop the ball though

Here is the correct answer ^

The RF should have called him off but the second baseman was coming in hard and looked like he had a handle on the play.
Both players were at fault but it looks like the other players had deferred to the 2b on the play. Either way this isn't a routine fly ball. All three player had to run a long way to get the ball and all would have had to make the play on the run... shoulda been made but its not the blunder of the century. I hope Arkansas wins tonight
