Let’s check in Vol Nation’s thoughts about UF game this week…

“There is a feeling in the air. I don’t know what it’s, but this team will be fired up all week. I think we are going to go in the swamp fired up, we are going to scratch, claw and play with everything we’ve got. It feels like this group has been waiting on this game for a while. It feels like that they have put Pitt behind them. It feels like we are going to have a defense to stand up, and swarm to the football all game. I don’t know, but there is a chill in the air about this game. There is an offense waiting for Florida for some reason. Call me crazy, but this has a feel that I haven’t had in a long time. I think this football team is special coming into this game. I think it’ll be a lot closer than the experts thank. I thank we have a chance to win this game.”

Most of the Vol fans on there are decently realistic about the game. There are a few insane ones but I’d say 90 percent of the post have already assumed a loss. Canes fans are more fun. Go to CanesTalk Eye in the Sky and enjoy reading the absolute delusion. Every season it’s their year and they go undefeated or everyone should be fired. Every year. There is just no acceptance of reality that the U is not an elite program and likely won’t be for a long time. They don’t commit the money necessary to be one.

It’s not like Mullen isn’t known for that. He can drop some absolute head scratchers.
He can curb stomp Michigan one year with a QB who can barely lob a forward pass and then lose to South Alabama at home (who he demolished 30+ points in Mobile the year before) another year.

Man I remember those early 2000's Vols/Gators games and being so hyped to watch that game every year.
