We're melting here in Arkansas. I've only lived here for 7 months, but I am definitely questioning some of my life decisions.

Snow’s in Lexington Texas is pretty damn good.
But the best bbq in America is actually made in my backyard....:)

The best BBQ usually comes from places that look like they would fall down in a strong gust of wind. Archibald's is an excellent example of this fact.

Cattleack BBQ in Dallas. Hands down the best I’ve had (had nearly half of Daniel Vaughn’s top 50). Usually offer a special meat every week. This week is burnt end boudin sausage & pastrami brisket. Take my money.

I don't live in a mansion or anything but I've never heard my house described this way.

This is the correct answer. Tootsie (80 plus year old Pitmaster) is the bomb. I used to go there before it became such a thing, now you have to wait. Little nothing of a place in the middle of nowhere. Only open on Saturday mornings until it is gone. If you come for an Aggie game you need to make the hour drive there but you need to be there by 8 though they do hand out free beer while you wait in line.
Dad (about as hard core of an old Ag as there ever was) was an absolute BBQ fanatic and we brought him Snows when he was in the hospital and ended up being one of his last meals he could eat. He was so happy. His last Aggie game he was able to attend was also the 74-72 LSU game as well. Couldn't end with a Natty but it always makes me smile that was the last one for him and he had a blast.

That's only because you haven't been in mine.

Hog Tide Bar-B-Que in Aurora, Missouri is probably the best I've had, but I've never had bad BBQ.

The best Que is at the hole in the wall joints in Georgia and Alabama. Brisket is TX and Bad to the Bone (when I lived there) in Slidell, LA.
