South Carolina? I guess you are ignoring their awful history, they've had a nice run recently but the East has also been as weak as its ever been. They've never even made a BCS bowl.

I think he's saying that the top half of the league subsidizes the rest of the schools through giant bowl payouts and the tv contract.
Why bring in more football welfare recipients is the question I do believe. If LSU, UF, UG, etc. make a big bowl and get a huge payday all the teams benefit.

Since integration, Kentucky shared one SEC title. No one else outside the Big 6 has a sliver of a title. Its not an arbitrary grouping.

I propose a big five of SEC teams that have won a BCSNC. UGA barking hard hoping no one notices their accomplishments don't stack up.

that's a great idea. why don't we cut out the lesser earning schools. then, once they're gone, we can cut out a few of the remaining schools that earn less than the top two. then, we can cut the final lesser earning team out.
