Be in the top 8. You get to play at home in round 1, neutral site after that.

#9 - 12 are fukt

9-12 this year were definitely worse than 13-15. Won’t happen every year hopefully

What you meant to say was, 8 teams is plenty.

Biggest lesson, -- The computer can pick the teams better than a bunch of PC people in a board room.

The only difference in teams selected by the computer is that Bama (#11 in the BCS) would have gotten in over SMU (#12).

If that's the only wart, the committee did fine.

The lesson is 10-2 Big 10 teams seem to clearly be better than 10-2 SEC teams.

Maybe.

Playing on campus in late December is new. Usually these teams are in Florida or California or New Orleans with a 50-50 stadium crowd. It’s a new paradigm. We’re about to see 3 blowouts in 4 games, whereas these game would likely be close on a neutral field.

What data is this based on besides your bias? Bama got beat by Tennessee which is getting SMOKED. Indiana was more competitive than Tennessee against Ohio State and only lost to teams in the playoff. South Carolinas best win was against Clemson who lost by 14 to Texas who got beat by Georgia who beat Clemson by 30. Mississippi lost to Kentucky and Florida. Give me something to back up your statement other than SMU shouldn’t have been there because I agree with that.

Worst case scenario, you won’t look as bad as Tennessee does right now

Got to be a top 8 seed to host.

You do realize they were ranked #7 by the committee, don't you? Please tell us you know a little something about how this whole thing works. They got bumped down 2 spots by 2 inferior teams that were gifted #3 and 4.

If you're #8, how can you control a shitty conference champion (ASU) sliding into the 12 spot but then jumping over you to 4 and bumping you down to 9?

You really don't know how this works, do you?

Tennessee is literally playing a road game right now. If them and tOSU switched seeds, the game would be in Knoxville.

They’re the same people who set the seeding rules.

So no, you don't know shite about how this works. The rules were set by the CFP Board of Managers, not the committee.

Why don't you do a little homework, then come back when you actually know something about all this works. That's better than making a fool out of yourself.

Bro, first of all, you’re arguing a different point than my OP. All I said was be in the top 8, get a home game and your chances of winning skyrocket. That’s it. That was the point. Home teams are batting 1.000. Tennessee needed more wins in the regular season to host. The rules that allow Boise and ASU to be in the top 4 of the bracket have consequences.

Second, I really don’t give a shite about Committee A and Board B. But surely Committee A and Board B communicate with each other throughout the season and know each other’s rules. They know exactly what they’re doing.

"Bro". I'm talking to a fricking kid. Being in top 8 doesn't guarantee you a home game, dipshit. Tennessee was ranked 7.

No, you didn't know shite about how this is was all set up, and your foolish jabber is just a lame face saving attempt when your ignorance was pointed out. Just shut the frick up already.

Know each other's rules???

The committee doesn't have their own rules, fricktard.

Just shut the frick up about shite you don't know anything about.

What degree level of melt would you describe your manic replies in this thread…if you were a non biased observer just reading through the thread? Scale of 1 to 10 with ten being the most melty.
