It sure sounded that way on TV.
I remember that game specifically because it was constant. Like those damn Vuvuzelas during the World Cup.

It gave me a damn headache. I was at a friend's house that's got a bad-arse surround system. We had to mute it towards the end of the game bc everyone got a headache.

I'm sure Miles had to drop one, so he growled to cover up his fart

Where are all the LSU posters saying Petrino was whining? hmmm

I'm curious as to why every coach doesn't. Miles is right...it's blatant and flagrant cheating. Artificial noisemakers aren't allowed, oh but we'll let just ONE school do it. It's complete hypocrisy.

I agree with this. I wonder why Miles hates the bells so much?
because he knows that thursday night game this year is gonna be a big ole biotch.

Miles should have been like: if MSU gives cowbells then LSU gets to serve booze in TS

I do see Petrino's point about a double standard. He loses key players on the drop of a dime before the bowl game with Louisville, but all the OSU players get a pass. I get the frustration, especially when we were waiting till the last minute to find out if Ridley was going to play in the Cotton Bowl.

I agreed with Petrino as well. It's stated as such in the thread.

Personally I say let them ring the Cowbells. But any team in the SEC should also use artificial noisemakers when MSU is visiting.
i would 100% agree to this. it would make for a fun game when the Bullydogs come to town. some student groups could raise a lot of money for charity selling 85,000 vuvuzelas.
BTW, i'm betting either Spurrier or Nutt was the other descenting vote. Spurrier is a purest for the rules, but he's wouldn't be shy of stating his position like Miles. Therefore, it may have been Nutt just to piss off State.
