What is it with Les and using the phrase "finishing 2nd" in the game, instead of manning up and saying lost the game? Didn't really give much credit to the opposition for beating them down.

Went down 0-14 against TAMU on the road against the Heisman trophy winner. Managed to come back from that.

I agree totally with What miles said. But I think Bama scores 38 regardless and I am not sure how many more points we would have scored with a different score near the half. The issue with the Fumble is it was demoralizing. I found more issue with some of the self inflicted penalties. I still think Bama wins the game regardless, but it could have allowed us to run the ball more and become less predictable. Bama is really tough to play when you get one dimensional.

Good point but that would've made LSU give Hill the ball more. It is what it is. The better team won. It was always going to take a special effort to pull that game off. You can't keep giving Bama chance after chance.
