I just don't believe it's going to matter one way or the other when they face the COI. And the in's & out's of a civil suit won't be allowed as evidence in front of the committee anyway.
Agreed, I read a fair amount of the appeals and rebuttals from other cases and the NCAA rarely changes their mind. They will use some as mitigating factors, but that does do all that much

One detail, it isn't the defense of Ole Misdial, it's Rebel Rag's defense. A defense in an ongoing legal case.
The NCAA will probly cite the Miami case and say evidence from ongoing legal cases is not allowed to be considered by the NCAA.

Why would he go with OM? Thought he would go with his attorney. Or conference in.

LOIC and Failure to monitor are not directly related to LL they are a culmination of your shiddy compliance department and your crooked coach

Just out of curiosity, in a moment of honesty, do you believe MSU or its boosters provided inducements to Leo Lewis to go to State?
Here's what I think. If Leo got money from anyone that sides with Mississippi State it was totally out of the loop of our Athletics and coaches. Mullen has sent word to booster organizations on a few occasions telling them to stay out of his recruiting. That's the difference between our two universities. We don't allow the boosters(Forward ReBears) to run our athletic department. We sure as hell didn't have a coach orchistrating and money transactions. You saw with Will Redmond how we handled an assistant coach who overstepped his boundaries.

all of which backs up and lends credence to the truth that this was a witch hunt from the very beginning, starting with the Moncrief harassment in 2013. The NCAA formed the conclusion that Ole Miss was guilty FIRST, and then spent 4 1/2 years searching for the evidence that would support the conclusion they had already formed.
So I guess I s also a "witch hunt" when a law enforcement detective builds a relentless case against a gang leader, responsible for an unrelenting crime spree, thumbing his nose at law and order and innocent people.

my source(OM response to the allegations) is just as credible as the words that come from Leos mouth... I find it hard to translate from legalese to a coherent paragraph, but then again, you guys are way smarter than me.
B. Allegation No. 16-(c) – $10,000 Payment
Allegation No. 16- (c) is perhaps the most “headline - worthy” claim that [Student-Athlete 39] raised during this investigation – and it is the allegation that is the most refuted or undermined by objective evidence. [Student-Athlete 39] has provided two very different accounts of what supposedly occurred on February 3, 2015, the day he claims to have received $10,000 from [Booster 14], and suggested two different timelines for this event. Both timelines are contradicted in several important ways. As a result, the factual record indicates that [Student-Athlete 39] did not tell the truth about that afternoon. A major concern with this allegation is [Student-Athlete 39’s]inconsistent recollection of the events. In [Student-Athlete 39’s]first interview, he discussed in general terms the $10,000 payment he supposedly received from [Booster 14], alleging that [Booster 14] reached out to him, they met the day before signing day, and [Booster 14] provided him a wad of $100 bills. FI No. 232 at 23-26, [Student-Athlete 39] 8/10/
Wait a minute Cuz???
This is the same panic defense shite that you guys threw at NCAA.
It is the same shite that they read before throwing it into the trash can saying - and I quote,
"This is pitiful, shite. It is just like Gerber prunes baby food shite. It is totally lacking in any consistency. You do understand that better shite than this gets flushed down the toilet a thousand times a day? You will need to do much better than this if you want to mount a defense that causes more than Roll On The Floor Laughter from the NCAA-COI team."
I smell a Death Penalty due to not worth a shite defense work.

Matt Wyatt said today that Leo will be at the hearing. He doesn't want to jeopardize his NFL career.
He does not have any merchandise from Rebal Rags, and will have to remember which version of facts he told the investigator.

I have arrived at the opinion that the OM law school curriculum is simply watching 4 years of Matlock and Perry Mason re-runs.
Sorry guys but there is no big boom coming and no last second revelation, the investigation is over and the sentencing is the next step.
Nothing from the RR suit is pertinent at this juncture and will be heard, OM does not get to question anyone, that part is finished and OM already admitted guilt.
This is not a court of law and there is no presumption of innocence or right to question accusers and OM long ago agreed to these rules, just as every member has as they in fact MADE THE RULES and voted on them
All this nonsense is simply the site mods trying to maintain readership and keep the flock in line, they know what is coming and are desperate to remain relevant and employed.

When he is suspended from Moo State college, his skillz will deteriorate.

Why in the world would Lewis be suspended.

Your dumb arse was claiming he was held out of spring practice AFTER a front page of the sports section CL picture of him at practice and an article about his improved play during spring practice was published.
Not even getting into how wrong you have been every other step of the way.
Your credibility level on anything is sub zero, you are either a bad troll or the dumbest MF'er in MS which is a pretty high bar to reach.

The Ole Miss investigation is what happens when someone goes on a witch hunt and there actually is a witch.
