I actually attended games 1 and 2 of the supers against LSU that year and had to wait in line for SRO tickets. I interacted with some decent LSU fans, but by noon they were all drink and acting like bitches. They really did cry when all the Vols fans where buying they’re allotment of SRO tickets regardless if they needed them or not so LSU wouldn’t get $10 tickets. I can remember this blond headed chick having a melt down at the front of the line as she watched all of us get tickets. She was on the phone without her people standing in the back of the line saying “this is fricked up” and about to cry because she wasn’t going to be able to get an SRO ticket for $10.
Then once inside the stadium I also heard multiple LSU fans tell other Tennessee fans that Vitello would be their next HC. I remember this very well. That’s also the same coaches that got scared and try to apologize after he said Tennessee had some very “nasty fans” in the way they talked to his players and him.

A media personality in Texas has flat out said that Texas contacted Vitello back in April and Vitello parlayed it into a raise and extension.
Tennessee fans didn’t start this shite, it was other people, and other fans and even people that don’t have no connection to Tennessee.

You were responding to LSU posters that said LSU did not try to hire Vitello in 2021. They weren’t lying, that was a rumor made up by Serraneaux.

Yeah. His quote was the Tennessee fans were fired up and supported their team. It wasn’t an insult. You sandy vaginas got all butthurt at the quote when the dude wasn’t even being demeaning. State isn’t a destination job. Nobody is gonna live in Starkville for a destination. NIL has changed the game and State is poor. Not sure Florida or FSU is either.
FSU has the same number of titles as Arkansas. Florida has won with one coach.

That never happened, I promise you that. But there where Vol fans screaming and yelling at Tre Morgan and you coach from the stands as they where leaving the field. And no, I did not hear anyone call Tra Morgan any racial slurs as your old fart coach claims.
After the sweep, most Vol fans were still inside the stadium celebrating and cheering the team. They wasn’t worried about your bitch made coach.

Not every fan was drunk that I spoke with. I have actual pictures of what the line looked like for SRO tickets. The 3 LSU gents that where in front of me where actually pretty decent during the early morning hours. I got in line about 6am and they were already in line. I think they was like 5th, 6th and 7th in line as my son and I was behind them. But even as down to earth ad they where, they even said that they thought a deal was already agreed in with Vitello.

State like any job can be a destination for a coach if the price is right.
My definition of a destination job is where a coach no matter the experience can come in and win a title just like the previous coaches before. A job that has had proven history that you can win a title, not just be good on a consistent basis. Very few baseball programs are destination jobs. I don't like to say it but Texas ended up being a destination job for that lying Aggie coach.
