I want to see UGA with JT Daniels and UF play someone with a pulse before I start crowning them in the East.

They looked good though outside of some defensive lapses.

Same here. I hope he is what some claim him to be. If he is .

You probably shouldn't include South Carolina since we play them this weekend. We're just here to trash our own team though. Carry on.

Josh Pate used to do a half-hour all-SEC show as an extension of his NBC sports segment in Columbus Georgia. He hasn't changed much. He has some intel but spends a lot of time trying not to hurt anyone's feelings.

His YouTube stuff is actually better, pretty entertaining format and his picks are always credible.

Wasn’t trying to. You aren’t a troll.

From what I've seen, DawgsLife, is one of the most reasonable posters here.

I enjoy reading his opinion. He calls it as he sees it, with no barbs attached.

Thank you, sir! I appreciate that. I can go off the rails sometimes, but I try to be fair.

He was very mean to me today. I already had to visit my therapist.

I can understand that. Life tends to get a little boring staying on the rails.

Nothing wrong with that. At least you can still go see him live.

I have a couple of shelves of vinyl, that feeds my Hag habit.

Started the show with it. You will not like the things he is saying(if you dislike us). This guy has been pretty on point on his SEC stuff for two years now. His bet picks last year were very accurate. They have a very good model there compared to the FPI. He also had Georgia winning the East and has already switched.

To sum it up. Florida has progressed significantly offensively since last year and they are very, very real.

Has Late Kick updated their predictions for a third time in three weeks yet?

If you just start watching Josh Pate, you think he's pretty good.
After watching week after week, you start to figure out his schtick.
He's never wrong. He's always right.

When their computer model gets the pick right but he goes against the model, he comes back and tells you his computer model got it right.

When he gets it right but the computer model gets it wrong, he tells you that he got it right.

When both the computer model and he get it wrong, he tells you that his show is about "what it would take for the upset to happen" and that no-one understands what he's doing with his show.

It doesn't take a lot of weeks to pick up on this (unless you are GatorBait2008).

Anyway, I was wondering if he revised his East predictions yet. Again.

That is one way of describing it.

He talks out of both sides of his mouth. Every hot take is countered with a soft comment.

When fans go after his hot take, he reminds them of his softer comments and how he didn't really get it wrong.

There are a million podcasts that I enjoy watching and respect that do this (Tim Pool). I admit that I enjoy Pate's show. But he is a schtick. Not much different than Buck and Belue. Or any radio show.

They are like making burgers at a fast food joint. It's just a routine. Clock in, flip a hot take over to cover your bases, and clock out. Next week when people only complain about one aspect of your show, you remind them of the flip and imply that they are emotional morons.
But he gets 2 shows out of it. And comes out making himself looking good because he controls the mic.

He also speaks in such a way as to make himself seem beyond reproach and that the viewer is privileged to have him there to explain all this complicated foosball stuff for our stupid little brains.

In a moving gesture of great charity, meansonny helping out slow posters (read: Gators) by correctly diagnosing how hot takes become not hot takes and shows like this create a false narrative about how "right" they get things.

You know your program is grasping for air when fans have to validate this cuck looking dude that's been wrong all season.
