Take out QB numbers and Auburn ran 16 times for 34 yards

Y'all were supposed to beat Auburn at home in 13,15, and 17, yet lost all 3.
I'll believe you can beat Auburn at home when you finally do

While better, A&M’s run D dominated.

That’s a silly argument.

Because we’re playing at Jordan Hare West.

- If Jimbo throws up all over his playsheet again and throws the ball around up by two scores in the 4th quarter

- If Kellen Mond is his usual self

- Grimes' OL really starts to improve around game four

- More option keep runs by Nix

- Having our hurt WR's back

On the flipside we may give up 3 TDs in punt coverage alone.

Like Texas, Auburn knows how to dominate in Kyle Field

I had forgotten what a disaster Jimbo was in the 4th qtr of that game last year

Hey, he let him throw one pass in a blowout game...

It looked like Gus was dead set on solidifying the run game, and it looked damn good. Nix will get better, but I think Gatewood's size and ability to stretch out for 3 yrs will be needed in the aTm game. I'd like to see JG get a whole quarter to run the entire offense, I thought the perfect time was vs Kent State.

Auburn was down by 10 with 5 minutes left in the game and ended up winning by 4.

Stidham lost 15 yards in sacks. Schwartz lost 11 on two poorly executed/well defended reverses. And if memory serves, Whitlow was banged up late the previous game against Ole Luke, which limited his effectiveness.

Plus we were down by 10 points for most of the 2nd half, and by midway thru the 4th we abandoned the run. Of course your defense responded by selling out to stop the run and daring Stidham to pass - which he did very effectively (7-8 for 125 yards and a TD in the final 7 minutes).

We had no business winning that game. I was in a PhD seminar and I let out a pussified shriek when Williams caught that last TD as I was watching on my laptop. Embarassing and pathetic by me, and Jimbo. That was some Curley Hallman stuff.

Even better: AU was still down by 3 with 3 minutes to go, and TAMU had a 1st down at midfield.

Did I mention that Jimbo has never won a game as an opposing coach at Jordan-Hare? 0-5 as an assistant and 0-1 as HC...

Agreed. I think we’ll win because last year Auburn broke the streak and the home team finally won.

I had no idea, but gives me an undeserved sense of satisfaction.

Gus finally went back to a dedicated RPO attack last week. This has not been the case in a while. And the offense finally opened up. Nix and Joey can both run it well.

aTm prepare thy anus.
