Pretty sure they rushed the field in Birmingham after beating what turned out to be a 5-6 Notre Dame team in '86.

I'm glad we did it, it's a hell of a story. And honestly, getting wet is probably one of the least bad repercussions our fans could've gotten.

As an 11 year old Bama fan that tagged along with my Auburn fan friend, it was the most awesome thing I had seen in my young life.

Don't recall that, but there were about 100 that rushed the field after the 90 Iron Bowl. They got billy club's and pepper sprayed by Birmingham's finest.
