1984 was not a pretty year for Alabama. First losing season since 1957.

The only salvation was an upset of Auburn that knocked them out of the Sugar Bowl.

A sack and fumble that OU scored to make it 45-31 so it’s not the arse kicking that lsu and ou fans claim.

Alabama fans don't whine about losing; we've never done that. When Alabama does lose, it's not because the other team beat them though, Bama just didn't execute properly.

Also, after every loss, Bama uses the mistakes they make to better themselves. Like this season, when they lost to a traditional bottom to mid-tier team in Texas, they corrected all their mistakes and are now in the playoffs.

That bottom to mid-tier team would be undefeated all time against Alabama if our QB’s blah blah blah yada yada yada..

and the funny part, it’s probably true, and you know it

Alabama is the best team of all time. It’s really not up for debate, but sometimes lesser teams just have your number.

BAMA didn't want to be there. Period. That game was the Super Bowl for Oklahoma and the toilet bowl for Alabama. Alabama was in the middle of a dynasty run and one of the wildest finishes in college football history (Kick 6) had just prevented BAMA from playing for a three-peat. The BAMA players didn't care about a meaningless bowl game against Oklahoma when they should have been playing for a championship. Sorry that bothers you, but maybe you think Oklahoma is a little too important. That game only meant something to you, no one else.

Alabama doesn’t win them all, but they don’t lose many.

And if your team has won in the last decade stand up and take a bow.
