We’ll revisit this in 10 years when 4+ schools average over 10k in attendance. College baseball is far from “niche” ya fricking dunce.

Even if it is a “Niche” sport, we are the niche, so we’ll count it

Im happy for msu. I have lived in ms my entire life.. their fans needed a national title. Baseball is important to their fans. But outside of a couple schools, no one really cares about baseball. Not a shot at msu's title, but it will never be close to football or basketball.

Hopefully that’s the case and very few people noticed that y’all went 2 & Q. The highlight and the only thing of note that has occurred in the last 20+ years is y’all firing a coach before his first practice due to Twitter. Not practice, we talking bout Twitter. Twitter, not practice, Twitter.**

Epically out of date article.

State was a far different program 5 years ago.

Top 5 in attendance.

One has to think that the cost of the new stadium may be skewing state’s numbers. I had read somewhere 3-4 years ago fear State was top 5 in baseball revenue. The only factors since then that could have an effect on the bottom line is covid and the new stadium.

Now that we are off the snide can we drop the kindergartenesque Moo U?

College baseball seems like it's getting less popular to be honest. Back in the day I remember teams like Nebraska, Cal State Fullerton and other small west coast schools in the CWS on the regular. All I see now is a few SEC schools, one or two Big 12, one or two ACC schools and one of the Arizona schools or UCLA.

So, you're saying mostly Power 5 teams make the CWS? What the hell do you see in CFB? An SEC, ACC, Big 10, and Big 12 school every year same thing. By the way Cal State Fullerton went to the CWS just four years ago, and little Coastal Carolina won it just five years ago. Don't be so obtuse.

Better tell this to the Tennessee AD, and fast. Word is the Vols are about to give Vitello a fat contract and commit to spending millions upgrading their baseball facilities.
