You saw the sign but you didn’t come knocking?!
I’ll leave the door wide open next time so you don’t even have to knock (I assume your big arse can fit through a door?)

See I think Sokoloff’s source is Cohen, and he broke it too soon not understanding (or caring) about the dynamics of the situation with Cadillac.

I don't hang out in trailer parks. So I wouldn't have passed your place.

I’ve been steadfast in my belief that Kiffen was not leaving OM for Barn. Today, the wife of one of the Grove Collective people posted something on social media that makes me think I might be wrong.

It’s never the smokescreen. It’s like you people have learned nothing

Way to leave that hanging...

A buddy of mine said he saw a man that “looked like Lane Kiffin”eating at The Depot (?) with some Auburn higher-ups.
Said he snapped a picture of the guy/group, waiting for him to send it to me.

but as far as being a cultural or personality fit for Lee County, Alabama
oh this "fit" talk again
You know who fits into any culture at any program? A coach who wins.

I think he’ll get itchy feet again in three maybe four years tops.
for what job? Auburn is an upper-tier SEC job. Most locations in the SEC have the same "culture," so not really sure where you think fits him better culturally where he also has the opportunity to coach in a major program in the best conference and with the opportunity to build a playoff caliber team.
This culture fit stuff always makes me laugh. Saban wasn't a cultural fit in Baton Rouge or Tuscaloosa. Les Miles isn't a culture fit outside the midwest. Urban Meyer wasn't a culture fit in Gainesville. Hell, Lane wasn't a culture fit in Oxford either. The days of having mostly good ole boys from the south coaching in this conference are long gone because ADs figured out a long time ago that wasn't a prerequisite for success.
Think about some of the best "cultural fits" over the past 20 years. Houston Nutt at Arkansas and Ole Miss. Ed Orgeron at LSU. Matt Luke at Ole Miss. Mike Shula at Alabama. Tommy Tuberville at Auburn. Mike Dubose at Alabama. Gus Malzahn at Auburn. Sam Pittman at Arkansas. And so on.
Did these supposed cultural fits have more long-lasting and consistent success than the supposed non-cultural fits like Miles, Meyer, Saban, etc?

Takes 5 seconds to send a pic. If you’re still waiting it didn’t happen.

He called from his car (using hands-free) and said he’d text the pic when he got home.
He’s staunchly against texting and driving, as we all should be. Very dangerous imho.
