Exactly what should have been expected. Sexton gets Lane a raise. He does this every year. Last year he did it with A&M. Auburn left looking like a chump, but I actually think it works out better for the Barn They don't end up paying an unproven Coach an obscene amount of money, so IMHO Auburn dodged a bullet despite their best effort to become A$M Jr. The very fact that they were willing to do so just tells me that like A$M they have more money than brains.

FWIW - I still think Lane stays. But this twitter account was created in 2019 (long before NIL collectives could have existed legally) and this is its one and only existing post.
