I am now concerned that Tuscaloosa will reach some kind of white-hot Flash Point for Assholery and douchiness and be sucked into a Cosmic Vortex that is outside all human understanding of time, space and matter, from which they will be eternally unable to emerge.

Its not a point of offensive production because its clear the amount of talent we have on offense now compared to when McElwain was OC. The point I am trying to make is that when we are in a tough spot and need points its like we forget what works for us and try to go west coast on the defense. Even then, the passing plays we ran against OK werent even our bread a butter. I saw few smash routes and deep outs and more dig and post than ever before. I need to rewatch the game but that was my initial impression.

McElwain got way too conservative with a lead and cost us games. Nuss apparently is too aggressive with the lead and doesn't run enough. There's no pleasing some people.

All I know is we had a lot of problems the last two games, and offensive play calling was not anywhere near the top of the list

Its my opinion...as worthless as it may be..that the decision to stubbornly pass the ball has cost Alabama ballgames under Nuss.

That said, we dont know how many games Nuss' gameplan was a positive factor in a Bama victory.

I do miss 2008-09 seasons where Bama was a true downhill power run team. McElroy threw for less than 70 yards when Bama beat Texas in the NCG.

He didn't say Kiffen as OC, just said Kiffen might get hired.

If he's a good play caller, I'd be down. He wouldn't get a chance to talk to the media and frick shite up. It would be a good time for home to get his shite together, too.

You are right. He did mention OC but wasnt specific about him getting hired for that.

We've consistently had one of the most effective offenses in the country under Nuss. We've had the most efficient passer in the country under Nuss.

The guy has worked absolute wonders at Bama. It's like people forget what how anemic and prone to stalling our offense got in the previous 30 freaking years

Our defense was all over the place. Watch the game, not just the offense. We've had defensive problems all year. It's not hard to figure out

No he only gave up 45 points. Good luck trying to top 45 points by pounding the rock all game.

It's a team sport. Sometimes your offense has to bail out your defense. Other times, like the VA Tech game, our defense and special team bailed out our offense.

Awesome. I started to hate Tennessee because of that douchebag and now the fricking Bamas are talking about bringing him back. Awesome. What's next? Trooper Taylor?

So Nuss sees his qb getting killed, refuses to put us in max protection, calling screens, anything to make the defense pay for being aggressive. Oh, but he can put up the points and yards against GA State. He can just make very few in game adjustments in tight games. If Henry breaks off a long run it's okay to hand it to him again, Nuss.
