Keep proving me right. Oh, and don't forget the down vote.

Kiffin obviously "just lost it".

No - he lost the ability to focus once he started interviewing and then took another job.

It's Lane frickin Kiffin. Even those of us who love the guy wouldn't trust him to execute an entire shopping list led alone do it while reconciling out bank statements. I honestly don't have any idea why Saban decided to give him a shot to do it in the first place.

Dude. I understand Saban made the best decision. It still doesn't mean it's a good thing.

It's like deciding to take grandma off life support. It's the best decision to make to end potential suffering. But grandma is still gonna die.

Firing coaches is the same. It was a good thing LSU fired Les Miles. But it was still a bad thing that LSU had to fire Les Miles.

Following?

Says the fan tripping over himself that a coach who hasn't called plays in over a year is now in charge for a national title game. With a week to prepare. And a freshman quarterback.

If Sark does well and the getsoffense going this game then he has got some balls of steel. Especially with what he has been through and the sudden transition to top dog.

If Bama wins Sark is a hero, if Bama loses Lane is an even bigger villain

Well, there's one objective Bama fan here.

Right. It had nothing to do with the QB hitting the wall.

Got it.

Which is what many of us said all along yet the Lane Pain Train was filled to the brim.

It has nothing to do with Hurts' limitations becoming more evident and defenses taking advantage of it. Nothing at all.

This is just strange. Why are you doing this?

Nobody is sure whether this will work. Nobody is sure Sark will be any good. But to act like the Washington game wasn't a train wreck from an Alabama offense prep and execution standpoint, regardless of the other team playing well on defense (they did) is just silly.

Anyone with a brain could see we looked lost and out of sync from the first drive. The only drive we didn't the entire game was when we ran the ball 9 of 10 plays.

Honest question- do you think this was Saban's master plan, or a last-minute patch because he didn't act on the downward trend of your offense sooner? Saban makes this move after the SECCG, and no one says a word.

I think it's neither.

Saban is pretty big on "being where your feet are" and it would seem like kiffin wasn't doing that since taking the FAU job.

Nick Saban believes that we have a better chance to win the national championship with Steve Sarkisian calling the plays and preparing the offense, as opposed to Lane Kiffin. That is good enough for me, saban has done enough in my eyes that I don't really feel qualified to question a huge decision like that. I'm not the footballl savant that some of our locals here are though.

Grandma is a Bama fan. Take her off life support and she'll wait around to watch us win another one before saying frick y'all and kicking the bucket.

And it should have been - he did a helluva job here. He won us a national championship in that game last season. I will always love the dude.

But expecting him to be a Head Coach at FAU and prepare for the 2 biggest games of the year.......well I'm not really sure what made Saban thing that was a good idea. I'm guessing Lane wanted to stay and Saban gave him a chance, but it was the wrong decision. And it was predictable.

Nah, it shouldn't have been. Plenty of OCs could have done what Kiffin did. Your entire team is filled with future NFL players. Lane Kiffin is a cancer.

The Bama posters on this board have been on the Lane Train since he accepted the position. Suddenly the team is better off with the OC leaving right before the NC game. It's hysterical.

Dude you need to pay attention. I don't think there's a Bama fan out there that's been happy with his play calling.

kind of implies a lose/lose scenario. I think saban views it as maximizing our chance to win the game, which is good.

I can see where it looks bad from the outside, trust me. I guess when he's been your coach for a decade you just kind of feel at ease with whatever he decides is best, because history indicates it's probably going to work and he probably knows better than RB10. Follow?
