Lane Kiffin is today’s version of Hugh Freeze

Everyone remembers the classic defense Ole Miss used was “everyone cheats”
The problem Ole Miss had was while everyone else was doing 80 in a 70, Ole Miss was doing 110. And then to top it all off, the famous “please do not slander these young men” tweet happened that rubbed it in the face of the powers at the time and painted a clear target on the program. Hugh’s ego made us a target.
Now fast forward and LSU is trying to claim that “everyone else is doing this” talking about pushing the limits of eligibility. But the key difference here is actively recruiting NFL players and publicly insulting the league office. Nobody else has turned their court case into a public spectacle where the butt of the jokes are the league office and their staff. LSU is now doing 150 in a 70 and the league has no choice but to punish them.

Hugh had major flaws but I believe he has a conscience and a moral compass. He made amends with his family and reconciled his marriage after public humiliation. I don’t believe Lane is ever sorry for anything he does.

The league office turned this into a public spectacle, and sankey will lose his job over it. The SEC couldn't provide any proof and thats why they had to postpone the federal case. They are trying to safe face right now, and stand to lose a lot of money if they do it. The SEC benefits from LSU being in the conference more than LSU benefits. Read an article showing where LSU provides about 800 mil in profit annually to the SEC.
