The Ole Miss stadium capacity is 67k?
Small time vs Big time

Yes, 2 average coaches won titles. Just think what Kiffin can do???

I am not pretending. I agree with you. I will clarify. Top “open” jobs.
Yeah agreed there. LSU is a great job no doubt and was the best of the available openings.
LSU will do what it takes to win. I respect that. I wish our AD cared as much as yours about winning vs making money

Lane locked himself in his office this morning and wouldn't even face the players. What a shitty person.

By leaving a guaranteed CFP spot in favor of a possible future playoff spot, Kiffin exposes his own self doubts in his coaching ability
Wait, what?
None of this makes sense.

Maybe that is his problem. He doesn’t have a moral compass so he has to ask others what to do. A hoe like Kiffin willing to spread his legs for LSU … wonder what he will do for Bama?

Don’t know and no that concerned about it

Let me spell it out for you… Kiffin is too insecure about his own coaching ability to ride this chance in winning the national championship, so he sandbags his opportunity to take a job with a future possibility of getting where Ole Niss is now. Already making excuses why he can’t take this team to the natty. Before you start saying that the mean ole AD won’t let him coach, Kiffin created this clown show. He could have taken the team to the natty and then opened his job search after the season was over. Most rebels wouldn’t have liked it, but we would have respected it. This is Kiffin screwing his team and the school that gave him everything he asked for.

More verbose, but still makes zero sense.

He never led y’all to the CFP. He even had a 4-2 record head to head against LK. What makes you think that LK is all that now?
Can you post Ed O’s record at Ole Miss and then post Ed O’s record at LSU

Wrong. The NCAA created the clown show with current transfer portal and recruiting dates.
If Lane would have waited until after the season the 2 biggest open jobs on the market would have been filled and he would have missed his chance. He did what he had to do to advance his coaching career to where he wanted it to be. Sucks for Ole Miss, but it’s business.

$$$
I'm happy for him. He is ensuring his great-grandkids won't have to struggle in life.
But, if he churns out a 7-5 or 8-4 year in 2026 with a loss to DUI 3rd and Golding, I will be here with popcorn.
All said, happy for Lane. Good hire LSU. And, Ole Miss, please don't go all scornful ex like LSU did about Saban.

LSU is accepting new fans. Hop on the train and you’ll feel much better

It's never easy when the best you've ever had... leaves you for something better..... I know it's painful.

So you wouldn’t take the better job offer if it was you?

They used to say that Coach Bear Bryant could “ take his’n and beat your’n and take your’n and beat his’n.
Kiffin just might accomplish that feat when LSU plays Ole Miss next year.
