You're melting, LSU fans are happy that they lost Frank he was a terrible coach and recruiter, they're happy about all of the players that have entered the portal because all of those 5 stars are busts, they glad they lost all of the GM positions because even though they brought in one of the top rated classes they were all busts, and they excited that kiffin showed up to the bowl game not wearing any school colors and left early instead of staying to support the team

This post is a load of bullshite just like everything that has come from the OM side since this all began. And your delusion that his first month has been rocky?? Just shows your scorned you all are still. It was insane how he kept our Defensive staff and class together. He brought over the main pieces he wanted on O since we already have the better defensive staff...and that is just the truth. Lane has done everything we want from him so far, you are the guys who just want to come up with some bullshite idea of how you THINK it has gone to make you sleep better at night. Well the thread OP get some things right, some wrong (it was the ADs between programs who allowed the coaching swap -- nothing to do with Kiffin), but the overall message is spot on.
I laughed when he wrote - "his pedigree, his brand" -- you go with Lane, this is his pedigree and his brand. Burn it all to hell.
I don't pretend to know the ends and outs of a college football program but it seems the HC, above all, is given a tremendous amount of leeway.
If Lane had said, I won't discuss until after the (potential) playoff run with Ole Miss, how much would it have changed the outlook at LSU... at Florida or Ole Miss for that matter?
And just think, he may have increased value and wealth on 'his brand' along the way.
Oh well, at least he got a grocery basket out of the deal.

And the delusion continues! We only wanted Frank for recruiting and guess what all the studs he brought in Lane convinced to stay even though they knew he was leaving. Give me your RB coach ALL day over Frank, they have been horrible under him the last few years. And the GM situation and the OL going to the portal...that OL has been dog shite for years! I am so glad we are cleaning house there. Austin Thomas? Who gives a shite. Can you guys even hear yourselves? lol.

That won't happen..he has to completely rebuild an o line even in the portal it takes time in actual games to develop chemistry spring practice is a joke now basically he will have fall camp to put something together I don't know what other positions he has to address as well he also has never worked with this DC or the staff..so we will see how that goes they will have to adjust to his practice schedule and figure it out...it's going to take him at least 2 years he has to get some depth developed a few injuries next year and LSU will tank..not his fault but I'm just saying a real possibility this isn't a fast rebuild even if you get paid 90 million

He said he wouldn't discuss it until after the season.
Apparently, the Ole Miss AD demanded that he sign their extension to continue coaching after the Egg Bowl.
