Kinda reminds me of those Family Feud gameshow episodes where a family member gives a truly dumb answer and...silence....then suddenly they start shouting "GOOD ANSWER, GOOD ANSWER!"

Technically you didn't name the last place, but I assume you are talking about his great tenure at USC the first time.

Nothing better than crippling sanctions which put the program into the wilderness for a decade. I'm hoping that he brings that success to Tuscaloosa.

So Reggie Bush taking money from someone was Kiffin's fault. This is news to me.

USC went 23-3, averaged 45 points/game in Lane Kiffin's 2 seasons as offensive coordinator. He's certainly functional calling plays.

Gene Chizik was a linebacker guru who fielded tremendous defenses at one time too.

Screw that. I HATE when that happens to most teams. I always hate it with SEC teams.

No need to hate excellence. Bama has been excellent.

I will cheer like hell for LSU to beat Bama by 3 TDs next season. But, I will not wish "ill" on them.

Yes, and he also called the plays at USC did he not?

Don't really like the hire, but this circus and meltdown by the rant is making it worth it.

Gumps have a short memory. Three - four years ago they were blasting the POS. Now he is an offensive genius that will come out as a better person because of his association with their lord and savior little Nicky.

Good lord.

Do you just make shite up? I must have missed the hoards of Bama fans calling him an offensive genius.

Glassing over the comments, almost every comment form Auburn fans is vitriolic and hysteric in nature. LSU fans are surprisingly congratulatory, UT fans are still in shock. MSU fans hate anything Bama does and the rest of us are just glad for the distraction.

This year is starting off fun at least.
