Absolutely not. It really speaks volumes for a guy to be fired in an airport parking lot and then have the bus leave him behind and take his bags with them as well. Lane Kiffin is a twat, and has really put an even bigger target mark on Bama's back for hiring this cesspool of human filth.

I thought he was a pretty good hire for UT. I also thought he was a douchebag.
Frankly I was wondering why Auburn didn't hire him over Chiz. Everyone knew he was leaving the Raiders, but he was a good college coach, so I thought it'd be a pretty good fit...and I thought he was a douchebag.
At Southern Cal, he didn't do a thing to change the fact I thought he was a douchebag.
Now he's our douchebag...and my opinion still hasn't changed. If he can do a good job with the offense, I expect I'll still think he's a douchebag...but can coach. If he can coach, I'll put up with his past douchebaggery.
I suspect his opportunities to douchebag will be severely curtailed with Nick as a boss.
A side benefit though...he really does have a smoking hot wife. She even made Orange look good.

There's a big difference between the HC Kiffin and the OC Kiffin. I wouldn't want him to be our HC, but I'm interested to see how he can do as our OC.

Not necessarily. He did the offensive playcalling at USC if I'm not mistaken. USC did pretty well under Orgeron when Kiffin was canned. I'm not saying he'll suck at UA, but I don't think his years at USC are a very good gauge on future outcome.
