I think the difference was that he was immediately ejected then Miles suspended him the next game.
Neither was done to Dickerson.
Also, the hit you referenced didn't knock the opposing player out of the game.

Who else remembers how LSU fans argued not only that this ^^ shouldnt have even been a penalty, but was evidence of ref corruption? Landon Dickerson does the exact same thing and they go as far as to celebrate when he tears his ACL
