Landmass vs SECW Big 3 2015

Last year the landmass was able to achieve something they haven't done in a very long time. Combined they beat all 3 of the Big 3 west teams (Bama, LSU and Au)
Ole Miss went 1-2 beating Bama. Lost a heartbreaker to Au, that they, easily, could have and some would say should have won. While the @LSU game was close on the scoreboard it seemed like LSU dominated the game. The Bama game was close and they got their biggest win in the Hugh Freeze era and one of the biggest in program history. Goal post were torn down and partied with all night. The home crowd willed them to victory, that was the craziest I've ever seen Oxford.
MSST went 2-1 beating both 1LSU and Au. The LSU game was a beatdown (don't even start arguing that it wasn't LSU fans-we all know y'all made a late rally that made it appear closer than it was, its as a beatdown) The Au game wasn't close, don't remember much about it but a quick look at the stats show a pretty even yardage but Au had 4 TO's (so did state) and held the ball 10 minutes less. Bama had a 19-3 halftime lead that they almost let slip away but the home team could not pull out the comeback like Ole Miss was able to do vs Bama in Oxford.
Fast forward to 2015
Will they get a win this year?
Ole Miss is @Bama loss, @ Au loss and have LSU at home tossup but probably an underdog. Best chance
MSST @ Bama loss, @Au loss and LSU at home, again the best chance for a w.
Basically it will come down to LSU as those games are the only games with a reasonable % chance for a w and that's only because they get LSU at home.
IMO, landmass gets shutout in 2015 vs B3 in the west.

Well Bama went 8-1 in the SEC last year with Blake Sims at qb, so I would say that Bama will be able to win no matter who is the QB. And yes, Bama does have QB options. Several young 4* and last years 5*#1 rated at his style HS QB in Blake Barnett.

Good lord, wasn't trying to troll LSU. I was just looking to have a topic to discuss, that isn't about Fournette, which school is tdeclune/tincline, etc troll threads that litter the board. Thought this could be a new topic for discussion.
Again, will the landmass schools get wins vs Bama,LSU and Au

At first I thought this was a piss-poor attempt at trolling Ole Miss and State. Then I realized it was a subtly-placed troll on LSU while still trolling the other two. Nicely done.

Thank you so much for the prediction. You must have gotten last season correct. Congrats. That's impressive.

State isn't @ Bama again this year. Unless the Rec is doing work and I missed it.

It's really cute how you don't capitalize the U in AU. Totes adorbs.

quote:Sims hadn't played a down up until last season and you saw the result. That's what happens at Bama. Saban backs off and lets his OC/QB coach to his job without interference. I don't expect much fall off in 2015 no matter who the QB is.

Meanwhile in Baton Rouge, the Grass Man's "Square Peg-Round Hole" QB development technique will probably continue unabated........

They'll probably both beat LSU at home.

Some people don't realize the experience that Miss State lost this year....and teams have started to figure out how to contain prescot. LSU won what 11-12 straight against State? The streak starts again....LSU will have that one penciled. I believe State will struggle bigtime this year. They simply don't have the talent to compete with the big boys year in and year out.
Ole Miss has a GOOD defense...not a great one as they think. They are vulnerable when they play big physical running teams. They are much better against a spread type team, imo. They will have a tough year if they don't develop a stout passing game, since their run game is all but invisible.
It's funny, Bo Bounds thinks both will have big years....I realize he is supposed to pump up the Mississippi teams....but he thinks this past year was elite (with 3 and 4 losses respectively).....lol.
I agree with you...both will be lucky to win 8-9 games this year, and I suspect State could be 6-6 type with Ole Miss around 7-5.

yes they both usually have their way with LSU when they are at home....lol....NOT.
It's kinda cute a Missouri fan weighing in....what is your record against teams with winning records in the SEC again? Something like 2-12 or some shite. LSU will be very good. The development of Bh will determine if they are just good or great. They went 8-4 last year, and will be improved in every area of the team...
