That sucks. I guess it's to be expected from a trashy program like Georgia, they are well known for taking cheap shots when things start going against them.

I didn’t think it was dirty. It was a hard hit and those of that grew up watching guys like Ronnie Lott play can appreciate it. The rule was followed and he was ejected. That doesn’t make it dirty.

Our Qb missed half the game after a dirty late hit. But we aren’t children and didn’t start a brawl so I guess nobody noticed.

He was landing from a jump, which gave him downward momentum. He was still struggling to get a handle on the ball and was reaching down to secure it. Both caused his head to lower. This is why the receiver is considered a defenseless player.
In comparison all the defender has to do is avoid a helmet to helmet collision. Sounds easier than it is, but its 100x easier than it is for the offensive player to avoid it.

Its not worth being reasonable with this bunch. They've acted like bitches all week (most of them).
