Green Hills is a great area. Drive down Hillsboro nearly every day
As for FH/Brentwood it's no Belle Meade, but I'm getting by
Nashville really is the best area I've ever lived in. The cost of living is great, the schools are good, and it's just a clean city.

If you're a beach bum I guess you would prefer Florida, but I really can't see the downside in moving to to Cashville from Columbus.
Nashville is clean, safe, good cost of living, good nightlife/music(duh), etc.
LOL at preferring Knoxville to Nashville.

Anyone who thinks Nashville sucks must be a loser with no friends. Nashville is great.

Yeah, I know a few who hate Nashville.
But I've always been a fan. I like it over Knoxville, and I would probably put Chattanooga and Knoxville in a tie. Besides the University, Knoxville doesn't have a whole lot going for it.

What's all this Plano, TX shite talk up in here?? Haha I grew up there...good place to raise a family and a very close proximity to Dallas but it is completely different than Nashville(nightlife wise).

What? He HAMMERED OSU for that bullshite way back when, he was CLEARLY in favor of sitting those players for the Sugar Bowl. He clearly cut ties with JT over the deal. Doesn't mean he won't still root for his alma mater, who wouldn't?

I'm pretty sure he was referring to Herbstreit's silence on the more recent issue of Tressel covering up NCAA violations, which is FAR more serious than delaying the suspensions.

Has Herbie been getting much, if any, airtime since CFB ended for the season? I hadn't noticed.

Nashville is a great city! I live in the Hendersonville area and work near Green Hills. There is always something fun to do here. I am from Birmingham and if you want to see a waste of a city just spend 3 days in Birmingham. That will change your mind about Nashville in a heartbeat.

Brentwood(near Franklin road) is beautiful and it's my favorite part of the city. I grew up near that area and went to school there. I like it even better than Green Hills and Bell Meade. the part I hate the worst is Hispantioch (aka Antioch).
there are lakes near Hermitage but it's just not the same as beaches though.

Nashville is ok. The Police are over zealous and crime is still bad. Nice parts and not so nice parts like any city. Night life gets stale real fast.
