"head hunting".
Or perhaps UGA has (typically) good defenses under Smart because he teaches them to be aggressive and attack the ball. "Physical" is a word he uses in almost every press conference.

yeah We could tell vs Ohio state last week and SEC titles games this year and last year. But hey, the UGA defense is generational vs South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech and out of conference cream puffs.

With a good QB and that defense UGA would be a GOAT level program. Instead we that putz Bennett being paraded around like he’s even decent.

LSU still won more national championships than you in the last 41 years even if you win. Lol
And you had to do it with paying players since 2016 and the same coaching staff.

Never in a million years did I anticipate LSU fans to melt the hardest after our team beat anOSU on Saturday, but here we are. This week has been quite the revelation.

So, we won because of our offense and not because of our defense? I am getting confused.

Could the Rant get together and make up their minds?

One day our offense is antiquated and awful
Next day we won because of our offense.

One day we can't win with Stetson Bennett at QB
Next day we will fail next year because he will be gone

One day we only won because of our generational defense
Next day our defense is awful

My head is spinning.

He did make the Heisman trip to NY as invited.

Others invited were:

CJ Stroud
Caleb Williams
Max Duggan

Apparently the Heisman committee felt he was one of the four best QBs in the country this past season.

Now do coach O

Okay.

Coach O farts his way into one national championship with a Heisman Trophy winning, generationally awesome, QB. Follows that up with sleeping his way into getting fired. He's done.

Kirby? Wins a national championship with a walk-on QB. Follows that up going 14-0 with the same walk-on QB after losing 15 starters to the NFL draft.

Last season was a generational defense. The outlier was the SECCG and that's because we went off script and didn't go after Young as much as we should have, giving him time to carve up the secondary. That changed in the national championship game and the end result was vastly different.

Regarding this season's defense: we expected a step back from last season and we took it. It was good but not as good. But even so, we're talking about the 2nd half of the SECCG against the backup QB who was taking shots when we got conservative due to the huge lead, and against OSU, who had great receivers and a QB who played the game of his life and scrambled around to both prevent sacks as well as allowing receivers to get open (even the best corners and safeties can't cover WRs forever).

It's hard to play good defense in college football these days, but UGA has been one of the best for the past few years, in spite of allowing some points against some of the best offenses around.

You could take it back even further for more evidence:

2017 Auburn = Healthy = 23 point domination

2017 Auburn = Injured = 21 point close win
