Jayden Daniels is better than 2018 Joe Burrow.

Burrow struggled the first half of the season and began his Heisman campaign the second half. Give me that Burrow of Daniels. I’d love to see some stats to compare their second halves of the season though in case I’m wrong.

Uga defense in 2017 - 6th. 294 ypg
2018- 13th. 314 ypg
2019 - 3rd. 276 ypg
2020 - 12th. 320 ypg
2021 - 2nd. 268 ypg
2022 - 6th. 269 ypg

2019 was a pretty good year. But it was not an all-time year like the last two have been

OK

2003 - LSU W (x2)
2004 - UGA W
2005 - UGA W
2008 - UGA W
2009 - LSU W (the infamous AJ Green "celebration penalty" game)
2011 - LSU W
2014 - UGA W
2018 - LSU W
2019 - LSU W

So UGA is 4-6 over the last 2 decades with 2 losses in the same season, a season that LSU won a NT. This isn't nearly as dominant as some of you pretend it is.

And we're 6-6 if you go 25 years and 7-7 if you go 30.

Where is this ownage they speak of, pre-WWII?

I guess I’ve just grown accustomed to kicking your arse in Atlanta. Either way, I promise you… UGA doesn’t intimidate anyone the way y’all think you do. It’s a friendly rivalry at best, but LSU definitely has the wins on our side the past two decades.

We’ll see if you can get it done in our REBUILDING year, but make no mistake… we’ll be back again real soon, ya hear.

Mark Richt went 9-3 the year Georgia fired him to hire Kirby. They must have had a ton of faith in Kirby and it's paying off

No, you just like to selectively remember games (and seasons) like a lot of other LSU fans on this site. The losses and bad years you just ignore and pretend they don't count if it doesn't fit the narrative.

And I've seen very few Georgia fans claiming LSU is going to be intimidated or completely outclassed in the SECC. Most of us know better and realize it will probably be our toughest game of the year to date. If anything, it's mostly Tennessee fans on this board shite-talking and downplaying LSU's season.

Because that's the age of the oldest college players. They don't remember what happened in 1930.

But if to go 30 years is 7-7.

They finished with 10 wins after the bowl game, and it was one of the emptiest 10 win seasons in the history of cfb. We didn't even finish ranked in one of the polls and beat no one of consequence. Georgia Southern took us to OT that year. It was the right move to move on. Richt was clearly on the downside by that point and the program was totally stagnant.

So, you agree that Joe Burrow is overrated. I appreciate that. I wouldn't have believed it if you hadn't just said it.

Love to hear you reasoning for this and some sort of stats or fact to try to back up that statement.

Obviously you can’t touch his 2019 college year but I get it if you are trying to say he had one of the sickest talented players assembled around him— fair enough.

However— it’s hard to argue with his pro numbers either despite an awful O-line. You do know most pro football measuring services already rate him top 5 in the league currently right ?

And that’s fine if you disagree but what are you referencing that supports your statement?
