It feels amazing to be out of mediocrity (Mark Richt) and be an elite program. I've been telling everyone that Richt won't be able to get it done and I get responses and insults "who are you gong to get?". Honestly, Richt shouldn't have gotten 15 years. Sometimes you have to take risk to be elite.

remember hearing how historically good the UGA defense was in 2019. Lots of impressive stats leading up to that game too.

I actually remember the talk being about LSUs offense (rightfully so). I remember people saying UGAs defense would be LSUs biggest test, but not anyone saying UGAnin 2019 was an all-time defense. UGAs talk going into that game was to hold LSU to the mid 30’s and out score them because their defense had given up points a few times that year. But the LSU defense held UGA to 10.

I've said it elsewhere, this is Kirby's conference right now. Handing of the torch was last year, and I don't see Saban taking it back

Everybody forgets that LSU’s defense had different key players injured the entire season. Ole Miss’ quarterback ran all over them. They finally got healthy for the A&M game. But that was 2019. This year Georgia is the team to beat if you want to win the championship. LSU has exceeded every bodies expectations. Now we have to let everybody finish up their regular season and see how it shakes out

The 2019 Georgia defense was Smart’s best since coming to Athens. It is his only top-five defense since becoming the head coach.

You sure...hoss?

GA was ranked #49 in offense that year

Didn’t matter much how good the D was

Also, didn’t GA hold LSU to one of its lowest point total for the year?

Did he even go to the SEC championship in his first season

No, but Kelly joins Jim McElwain, Gus Malzahn, and Les Miles with that accomplishment. Good company there.

Remember when AU passed on him to hire Gus? I do

AU didn't pass on Kirby Kirby passed on AU. AU was too dumb to give him full autonomy to get things back on track and that's what he wanted. All I can say is thank you for doing that lol.

Wow. Kelly played kirby close both times with an inferior roster while at ND. Uga fans acting tough but don’t be surprised to see Big Dick Brian pull it out

Hard to argue, until Day beats him this year.

You can smell their fear. When daddy enters the room, children act accordingly. LSU is about to do to UGA what we usually do.

Burrow ain’t your QB anymore and our offense is actually competent

Burrow and Chase aren’t walking through that door hoss. It’s a whole different season.

Jayden Daniels is better than 2018 Joe Burrow.

However, I expect Georgia to win.

LSU is much too thin and it's still a rebuilding year.

Harold Perkins is the new Burrow. The alignment brings fear, I smell it.

So, you agree that Joe Burrow is overrated. I appreciate that. I wouldn't have believed it if you hadn't just said it.

Umm..

that's ND, not LSU?

Do you want me to show you a picture of the coach that whooped your arse?

Maybe you should have kept him. He did better than your current coach has.

LSU fans 20 years from now:
"Y'all remember that time we beat Georgia twice in a row?!?!"
