I have no problem with McElroy. You can take it up with the man who actually has a screen name devoted to the hatred of the guy. I'm just remarking on some of the play calls that were made inside the red zone in 2009. Since we have the same offensive coordinator coming back, it still is somewhat of a concern going into 2010.

No shite...I can't imagine wanting to bench a guy that just won the NC and has never lost a game as a starter since high school. The kid is doing something right.
The problem is just what Kirby Smart stated. People in the US can't settle for just winning, everything has to be flashy and make sports center.
We have a damn good football team that knows how to get it done and our QB is great.

Just win. The same thing happened when stallings was there. All he did was ave 10 wins a season when the season was 11 games not 12 and people run him off cause it was not pretty. Winning championships is not about being pretty it is about being tough and hardnosed. Ask Oklahoma, they had the greatest offense in modern era and when it got to winning time got hit in the mouth and that was the game. Just win dont care how it looks or what happens do what it takes to win cause in the end that is all that matters.

Had pretty good defenses last year. So did Ole Miss, gotta give them some credit where due. There was some bad play calling in the games, but good enough that we won.

I think he did a great job all year long. he wasn't perfect but what do you expect it was his first time to ever start at QB and he won the NC.
