What has Kirby Smart have to complain about? His team played on the road just four times out of their 12 regular season games. They weren't "put on the road all year long", as Kirby whined. Even the SEC championship game Was played in Georgia, as always. Not an unfair advantage for the Bulldogs, I guess. Even though he had road trips to Kentucky, Alabama and Mississippi this year, all three played in Athens in 2023. Kirby could live with that. SEC game sites are alternated yearly. By the way, the Bulldogs have played Alabama in four of the last five years -- two in Athlens and two in Tuscaloosa. Bama won all four. I'm no big fan of the SEC office but Kirby Smart's cheap shot at Greg Sankey made Kirby look petulant, foolish -- and Wrong!

Im sure you know better about the health of the Georgia football team than the best coach in CFB.

UGA had the same number of home games as anyone else. They choose to play Florida at a neutral site.

Why's he mad?

Nope.

Because Drink wasn't on the stage standing next to the SEC Commissioner after winning the SECCG.

Kirby Smart is widely regarded as a better coach than Brian Kelly due to his success in building a dominant program at Georgia and consistently competing for national championships.

1. National Championships and Consistency: Smart has led Georgia to two College Football Playoff National Championships (2021, 2022) and has consistently fielded one of the most complete teams in the country. In contrast, Kelly, while successful, has not reached a national title game at LSU, and his teams have struggled against top-tier opponents.

2. Recruiting: Smart has excelled in recruiting, regularly landing top-ranked classes and creating depth across all positions. His focus on elite talent acquisition has transformed Georgia into a powerhouse, while Kelly's recruiting has been solid but not consistently at the same elite level as Georgia's.

3. Development and Culture: Kirby Smart has created a culture of sustained excellence at Georgia, emphasizing tough defense, discipline, and team chemistry. His coaching has produced multiple NFL-caliber players, particularly on defense. Kelly, though a strong recruiter and strategist, has faced criticisms about his team’s performance in big games and his inability to build sustained dominance like Smart has at Georgia.

Overall, Smart's ability to recruit, develop players, and deliver championships sets him apart as a superior coach compared to Brian Kelly.

He’s mad because the team UGA played for the championship got to play a collection of the worst teams the SEC could offer, with one exception, who they lost to twice.

Fans: I wish coaches would say what they really think about things.

Also Fans: OMG, just shut up and quit whining.

Since becoming the Bulldogs' head coach,Kirby Smart has faced Alabama seven times and lost 6. Four of those games were played in the state of Georgia, two in Alabama and one in Indianapolis. In the last 10 meetings, seven have been played in Georgia and the Bulldogs won just one. And still Kirby acts as if he is victimized in having to go to Tuscaloosa twice in a decade.

I don't know man. When Kirby's right, he's on it. And he's usually right.

I'll be honest.

I thought he was just trying to hype his team up trying to create this kind of "us against the world" type mentality.

When did this become a comparison between Kirby Smart and Brian Kelly? I've been very disappointed in LSU's performance since 2019 and still question if Kelly is the man for the job. Smart has done an outstanding job at Georgia. He was just an insufferable jerk after Saturday's game when he took a childish cheap shot at Stanley before a national audience.
