Going back 4 years, there is only 1 season with evidence that the West Division is better.
2019

It is a weak argument with little to nothing to back it up.
Arkansas, Auburn, and A&M were 10 games under .500 in conference play for 2022 (combined). Honestly. Weren't all 3 supposed to be badasses in 2022?

Kirby has back to back natties. And an SEC championship. A thing Bama fans claimed was harder to win than a Natty and much more important

Saban has at least 2 natties left in him.

This recruiting class alone will net him at least 1. I don’t think ppl are appreciating what he just pulled off in recruiting. His current class is arguably his most talented and that’s saying something.

Old Grandpaw Nick will be 72 this year. He is grumpier than hell and having a very hard time changing with the times. He never smiles and seems miserable

Actually, Saban was Kirby's mentor and Kirby has overhauled UGA's FB program to be like Bama's.

He built LSU too, right? Why post ignorant statements?

Pruitt was successful with Kirby’s players. It’s a shame he couldn’t keep that going.

Pruitt was successful with Alabamas players.
Anyone who doesn’t believe that is an idiot.

good news for you, looks like he’s available!

You think Saban still has his phone number?

I can read.
Those teams include a preseason #6 and #19 in the polls. The definition of overrated.

2021: A&M #6 and LSU #16 in the preseason AP. Both finished 2 games under .500 in conference play each. Again, evidence that the West is more overrated than more difficult.

Up until 2022, no team from the East had beaten Alabama since South Carolina in 2010. Also, most of the teams from 15-25 were overrated in the preseason poll. Kentucky was overrated af.

Cherry picking time frames again we see. Just like the 80's.
Bama was built a hell of a long time before Kirby Smart stepped on campus. Matter of fact before Kirby was born.
Kirby has had gravy train his entire career. Studied under the best coach and program in college history. Became HC at state school at a time when rivals were struggling and gave him the recruiting advantage. Certain programs have become stable now and Kirby will have to work harder.
Kirby Smart has to stand in line where the subject of who built Bama in concerned.
If Bama has a little brother it is the dawg.

I agree.

The conference is overrated.
It is typically 3 to 4 teams at the top and a whole lot of crap every season.
