That has to be hard on LSU fans. Outside of a couple of brief 5 to 15 year periods in program history LSU football has been mediocre.

Don't care tbh. I could take either but DeBoer does seem to be a stand up guy. Lane seems to not be so much.

I'll take the one that is undefeated vs. Kirby.

Hopefully that statistic changes on Saturday.

Alabama had the opportunity to hire both of them in January of 2024.

I'm happy with their decision.

Saw Bama fans call Williams a **** and other things after the FSU loss.

Deboer is ultimately fricked.

Edit: damn so there are words you cant say

Kiffin lost to Billy Napier, was. 500 vs Brian Kelly, lost to an awful Kentucky team last year, and was 2-3 vs Sam Pittman.

You're talking about the knee jerk reactions for a few fans. Most people don't do that crap.

.500 vs the coach LSU just fired, and that includes his Southern Cal time. If Ole Miss is a shithole bottom feeder, what has Arkansas been (other than 3-2 vs. Kiffin)?

One is 11-1 with three star recruits; the other 10-2 with Saban’s five star recruits

Its pretty obvious

I did not want Kiffin when Saban retired and was relieved he wasn’t interviewed. But that’s primarily cause he wouldn’t have been a good culture fit with the brand of Alabama football.

Kiffin could actually make the LSU brand work for him, dude can fit with the Wild Cajun atmosphere better than Kelly ever could.

That's the way I see it as well. If he leaves LSU it will be to go to the NFL. I'm just not sure he actually wants that anymore. Dude's 50. shite changes at that age. A lot.

Point stands. One has three star recruits, and the other has Saban’s five star recruits. Anything less than making the playoffs with that roster is a failure.
