But he clearly bailed on the dolphins and they were pretty upset about it

Of course they were upset about it, but that doesn't take away the fact that Saban sat down with the owner and talked about his reasons for wanting to leave before he ever took our job.

Look man.... Kiffin is a total douchebag. In comparison, Saban is a saint. Kiffin was an embarrassment to our conference. Don't defend him anymore, you'll just wind up in a world of shite.

Getting a contract doesn't mean he was good. He wasn't even top 5 in passer rating. He was 2nd in most attempts lol. There's nothing to show you have a clue.

Besides, your premise is that Lane made him better and in fact SD drafted him on potential not on past performance or he wouldn't have been drafted.

I watched every pass Crompton threw last year. You did not. You're basing it off of statistics. I'm basing it off of the caliber of throws he was able to make.

Seems to me you're the one that doesn't have a clue.

It means crompton was easily the third best QB in the SEC last year.

You dont have a single measurable to back this up. The guy was just bad but has potential. Kiffen just didn't bench him, only b/c he had no other option.

Forget Crompton, Kiffy is a train wreck. He was a complete embarassment to the SEC /thread

Crompton was easily the third best QB in the league last year.

Jordan Jefferson was bad, crompton was good. The NFL knows this, anyone who actually watched Crompton play a game knows this.

You're making my point for me. I never said he didn't have potential, just that Kiffy didn't coach him up and he was not top 3 last year in the SEC.

If you like Crompton great I'm sure he's a good kid but you have NOTHING to back up what you're saying other than your emotions.

Based on what you dipshit? I never said JJ was good. Just b/c you repeat it over and over doesn't make so. Besides you're crediting Kiffy with his sucess, of which he had none.

Based on the quality of his play. You clearly didn't watch any of his games and your posts have proven it.

Damn, I guess JPW really was a pretty good QB. I mean he is on an NFL team...so that MUST mean he is good.

Yes I did watch some games, what would I have seen? His awesome potential? I saw a guy with a low completetion pct and an ok passer rating. About 5th in the league.

That's who he was last year, nothing you say when you're drooling on him changes that. Regardless Kiffy didn't coach him up. Just look at his games asshat.

24 touchdowns 2500 yards behind an offensive line that started two 260 lb walk ons.

Based on this he's about 5th in the SEC last year. Now if you say based on potential or based on how he looks in your doublewide maybe he's 4th.

You mean his 3 games against cake teams where he threw 5 td's, but when it came to a decent defense HE FLAT OUT SUCKED

Uhh actually 2,800 yds and 27 touchdowns. Take out W.KY and Memphis. 17 td's and 2200 yds.

Either way he was 2nd in attempts so you'd expect his yds and td's to be high. That's why there's a passer rating.

Now I know you and your buddies think he's good but we have stats to bring you back to reality. Just pick the ones you like and tell me how's he's 3rd in the SEC Hillbilly.

Mother freaker, how about 265 a td and an int.

Man you are dumb and I'm getting tired of crushing your lame comments out of the park. Again, was this from you and Cletus's matchup on PS2?

Kiffin to be a guest.

Is he sweating more now than he did when Jimmy interviewed him last year? I seem to recall that he lost about 28 lbs. of body fluid during his prior interview...
